Four Main Ingredients:

1.      Set up

2.      Sequence

3.      9 Gamut

4.      Repeat the Sequence


Step 1 Set up
: 
-Identify a SPECIFIC emotion, problem or physical sensation.
-Measure 0-10 how much it bothers you ( 10 worst ever, 0 not at all)
-Focusing on the issue tap the little finger side of one hand  (Karate Chop) or  alternately, rub the chest above the breast (Sore Spot) while saying:


“Even though I have this ‘issue’ I deeply and completely accept myself.”
(
Set up Statement)


Step 2 Sequence:
Tap each of the EFT points (See below) about 7 times each while focusing on the issue.


Tapping Points

EB – eyebrow

SE – side eye

UE – under eye

UN – under nose

Ch – above chin

CB – collarbone spot

UA – under arm

BN – below nipple

Th – thumb [body side of nail]

IF –  index finger  [body side of nail]

MF – middle [body side of nail]

BF – baby finger [body side of nail]

KC – karate chop [point on side of hand]


Step 3 - 9 Gamut: 

Eyes open              Eyes closed

Eyes down left       Eyes down right

Circle eyes clockwise    Circle eyes counter clockwise

Hum a tune    Count to 5   Hum a tune                 


Step 4 repeat Sequence:

EB – eyebrow

SE – side eye

UE – under eye

UN – under nose

Ch – above chin

CB – collarbone spot

UA – under arm

BN – below nipple

Th – thumb [body side of nail]

IF –  index finger  [body side of nail]

MF – middle [body side of nail]

BF – baby finger [body side of nail]

KC – karate chop [point on side of hand]


Step 5: Reassess your ‘problem’ 0-10.

-You may need to be more specific or focus on a smaller piece of the issue.

-If neccessary a
pply 2nd round of EFT using adjusted setup phrase
" Even though I still have some of this issue."


Repeat until gone!
